Who we are

1876 (Kingsbridge) Air Cadets is part of the Air Training Corps (ATC). The ATC is a youth organisation sponsored by the Royal Air Force with around 40,000 cadets aged 13 to 20 years old in over 900 Squadrons in the UK.

The ATC is split into 6 Regions: South West, London and South East, Central and East, Wales and West, North, and Scotland and Northern Ireland.

 

There are 40 wings spread between the 6 Regions, six of which are based in the South West: Plymouth and Cornwall, Devon and Somerset, Bristol and Gloucestershire, Dorset and Wiltshire, Hampshire and the Isle of Wright, and Thames Valley.

Within Plymouth and Cornwall Wing there are 23 squadrons, of which we are one.

Our overarching goal is to deliver on the corp's aims in a fun, friendly environment where you can gain many new friends along the way.
