Motivate, Persevere, Teamwork

The squadron has a wide range of sporting equipment for the cadets to use alongside our Duke of Edinburgh Award and for enjoyment on downtime at camps.

Physical activity is a core area for the organisation and we offers opportunities for cadets to partake in a range of sporting activities and varying lveles.

Athletics

Each year, we compete against the other squadrons within the Plymouth and Cornwall Wing. Cadets can compete in a wide range of athletic events including sprints, high jump, shot putt and many more. The squadron always turns out in force to support each other and enjoy a nice day at the track catching up with cadets and staff at other squadrons. It's not all about just competing!

Cross Country

Each year, we offer the cadets the opportunity to compete in the Wing's Cross Country competition. Cadets challenge themselves, pushing themselves to do the best they can.

Swimming

Each year, we offer the cadets the opportunity to compete in the Wing's Swimming competition. The competition consists of 7 different types of races. Freestyle, Backstroke, Breaststroke, Butterfly, Individual Medley, Team Medley and Team Freestyle.

Football and Rugby

Currently, the organisation offers opportunities for cadets to come and partake in Football and Rugby activities.

Currently, the organisation also offers opportunities for cadets to partake in Hockey and Rigby.
